Resumen del trabajo presentado al 2nd Trans Pyrenean Meeting in Catalysis (TraPCat), celebrado en Tarragona (España) del 18 al 19 de octubre de 2018.The catalytic reaction of secondary and/or primary amines with CO2 and silicon-hydrides as reductants has emerged as a promising technology that allows the selective formylation and/or methylation of N-H bonds. Moreover, some catalytic systems have promoted the selective formation of silylcarbamates or aminals. The research team I lead has contributed in the development of this chemistry, particularly in the case of iridium-catalyzed processes. This oral contribution summarizes our recent unpublished results showing the influence of the nature of the catalyst, the reductant and the reaction con...
