The aim of this mixed method study was to investigate the correlation between emotional intelligence and the leadership style(s) of the hospitality leaders both in Macedonia and in Norway. A number of five hotels were a part of this study as separate case studies (360 degrees overview was made in each one of the hotels using EI instrument and MLQ) and the results were compared to see whether there are gender, background, and social differences in the profiles of the managers. The study has “produced” profiles of the Macedonian and the Norwegian leader, since visible differences have been found.
