UPAYA PASIEN DALAM MENURUNKAN KADAR ASAM URAT

Uric acid (gout) is a metabolic disorder where there is excessive production of uric acid a buildup of uric acid in the body exicessively. gout is closely related to purine metabolism disorders that trigger increased levels of uric acid in the blood (hyperuricemia), ie if the level of uric acid in the blood more than 8 mg/dl. uric acid can not be cured completely but can be controlled with some effort undertaken handling patients with high uric acid levels. the study design used is descriptive with case study research strategy called CSR (case study research). participants were taken by 2 participants are clients with uric acid, and the grandson of the client. data retrieval is done at home clients located in the village dadaprejo junrejo subdistrict, batu. on 30-01 july 2019. the research data was taken using the in-depth interviews and observation of the patients's condition. the results of the research presented in five themes, namely:the reasons dealing with the disease due to the pain, do not consume foods that are prohibited, activity and rehabilitation, following the direction of treatment, and try alternative treatments. advised clients to continue to maintain the effort that has been lived in controlling the levels of uric acid in order not to relapse occurrence of recurrent
