Representasi Legenda Ramayana Dalam Komik (Analisis Semiotika pada Komik H2O: Reborn karya Sweta Kartika)

The Legend of Ramayana is a mythological stories origin from Hinduism, the stories very fluent with epic-romance set in a ancient times, The Legend of Ramayana got adapted by a local comic titled H2O: Reborn, represented using symbols, sign, and dialogue, the author of comic merging down every single representation symbols from Ramayana with his own very original idea, The Creator of comic involves majority future-ish element in every aspect, which is very contrast with The Legend of Ramayana itself. This study using semiotic analysis methods with qualitative approaches interpretative type in action, as a primary data source, researcher using the researcher himself and three pieces of H2O: Reborn comic books for the instrument for the research, the rest is secondary data source, researcher using any surounding literatures, semiotic analysis methods of Roland Barthes used for analyisist data technic. The result, researches founds at least 7 representation symbols from the entire 3 H2O: Reborn comic books, 7 symbols each of them is 5 as stories representation, and the rest, 2 as character representation. For the conclusion as researcher can found is the majority of The Legend of Ramayana representation is stories representation, which is total of number researcher get is 5, and the rest is minority as character representation, with total number of 2 representations
