Perubahan Tekanan Darah Pada Klien Hipertensi Yang Diberikan Aromaterapi Bunga Mawar

Background : Hypertension is known as the silent killer or deadly disease secretly. Handling of hypertension is divided pharmacologically and non-pharmacology. Non-pharmacological treatment among others with aromatherapy roses. Aim : To see if there is a change in blood pressure in hypertensive clients who are given rose aromatherapy. Method : The design in this study used pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test. Sampling techniques using non random sampling (n = 28) and data analysis of this study using the shapiro-wilk normality test, and Wilcoxon test. Results and Discussion : The results showed a change in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after roses aromatherapy was given, where before roses aromatherapy administration the average blood pressure was 149,28 and after the administration of aromatherapy roses decreased the average blood pressure to 137,85 mmHg. While the average diastolic blood pressure before being given rose aromatherapy is 100,17 mmHg and after being given rose aromatherapy decreases the average diastolic blood pressure to 93,57 mmHg.
