TINJAUAN YURIDIS SOSIOLOGIS TERHADAP PENANGGULANGAN PEKERJA SEKS KOMERSIAL PASCA BERLAKUNYA PERDA KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM NO. 3 TAHUN 2005 DI DAERAH MUARA ENIM, SUMATERA SELATAN

This research was conducted in the Muara Enim Regency area in places considered to be very potential in conducting Prostitution such as in the café and dimly lit stalls in Muara Enim Regency. The purpose is to find out and study the ways of women commercial sex workers in getting a customer and to know and review the response to women Commercial Sex Workers Based on Muara Enim District Regulation No.3 Year 2005. As well as this study using a Juridical Sociological approach, with data sources primary and secondary as well as direct observation to the location of the study by analyzing descriptively qualitatively. Based on the results of the research of 3 women, namely 2 prostitutes and 1 person as an introduction, in getting a customer there are those who use pimp intermediaries and some who do not use pimp intermediaries to get consumers. The Government's efforts in its mitigation model are by using repressive efforts and persuasive efforts as well as organizing rehabilitation so that what is expected can change for the better
