PERAN BUMDES DALAM PENGEMBANGAN DESA WISATA PUJON KIDUL

Characteristics of the Indonesian territory which dominated by rural areas and become the potentials which can be developed in the tourism sector, especially with natural or cultural nuances. The development of tourism projects is done so that the community gets the maximum benefit related to the potential in their area. One of the village is a tourist destination is Pujon Kidul village. Various tourist attractions, ranging from nature, culture, agriculture, livestock, and local wisdom become the leading tourist attractions in this village. the number of tourism objects is inseparable from the participation of the community of Pujon Kidul in the development of tourist villages. This research focuses is how the role of the community in the development of the tourist village of Pujon Kidul. This reasearch uses qualitative methods with descriptive research types. The sources of data used are primary data, namely interviews and secondary data obtained from the documentation carried out by researchers. Data analysis was performed by descriptive analysis method and utilizing Talcot Parsons structural functional theory. The conclusion of this reasearch is that the role of the community of Pujon Kidul in the development of tourism villages is divided into 4 roles, namely the role of ideas, physical energy, creativity, and material. The four roles carried out are synergized into the strategy and agreement between the community and the government of Pujon Kidul village. The government's strategy to make the community as the main actor in the process of developing tourism villages was actualized by establishing a village-owned business entity that was oriented towards improving the economy of the community. The synergy between roles, strategies, and strong agreements makes the development of the tourism village of Pujon Kidul able to run optimally because each party both the community and the village government are able to implement the function of adaptation, achievement of goals, integration and maintenance of the system as stated by Talcott Parsons
