Background: Sleep is one of physiological needs for humans that is useful for body recovery process. Poor sleep quality will have an impact on the hormonal system in human body, for example leptin, ghrelin, testosterone, and cortisol hormone which will affect the body fat percentage that can lead to be an obesity. Objective: To prove the effect of poor sleep quality on increase body fat percentage on Students of Medical Faculty University of Muhammadiyah Malang Methods: An analytical observational research used cross sectional design.
