KESADARAN HUKUM SERTIFIKASI HALAL PELAKU USAHA RUMAH MAKAN DI KOTA MALANG

This research is to examine about law awareness of halal certification of restaurant entrepreneurs in Malang City. Considering that Law No. 33 Year 2014 about Halal Product Warranty is already prevailed for 5 years, then restaurant entrepreneurs should have done the halal certification as mentioned in law. Moreover, Malang city is also well known as city that has many universities wheteher private or state universities. This research has two formulation of the problem, namely 1). How is the awareness of restaurant entrepreneurs of halal certification in Malang City? 2). How is the procedure of halal certification for restaurant entrepreneur? This research aims to know about law awareness of halal certification of food entrepreneur in Malang City and to know the implementation of procedure of halal certification in LPPOM MUI Jawa Timur. This research is known as sociological-yuridical research and using 2 (two) kinds of data collection technique. Those are field research and library research. The theory that is used in this research is law awareness theory. This theory becomes the foundation of the analysis of this research. The results of this research indicate that law awareness of halal certification of restaurant entrepreneur is not effective because there are some indicators which is not accomplished. Besides, the process of halal certification procedure that is done by entrepreneurS and LPPOM MUI is appropriate with the Law Number 33 Year 2014 about Halal Product Warranty
