HUBUNGAN FUNGSI ADAPTATION PARTNERSHIP GROWTH AFFECTION RESOLVE (APGAR) KELUARGA TERHADAP STATUS GIZI PELAJAR DI SMP NEGERI 11 MALANG

Background: Families have an important role in preventing and improving the process of growth and development of children. The family functions that run well can optimize the child's growth process which can be described by their nutritional status. The family functions is can be measured by using the APGAR family score, that assesses five main family functions, they are adaptation, partnership, growth, affection, and resolve. Objective: Analyzing the relationship of family Adaptation Partnership Growth Affection resolve (APGAR) towards the nutritional status of students in Public Middle School 11 Malang. Method: The data were analyzed using cross sectional approach. The research subjects were 265 students of Public Middle School 11 Malang who had fulfilled the inclusion. Research Results: There is a relationship between the APGAR family function on nutritional status. The Spearman correlation test results obtained 0.725 with a significant value (p) 0,000. While Adaptation (r = 0.531, p = 0.000), Partnership (r = 0.580, p = 0.000), Growth (r = 0.466, p = 0.000), Affection (r = 0.559, p = 0.000), and Resolve (r = 0.443, p = 0.000) has an influence on nutritional status. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the functions of the family APGAR on nutritional status. The most respondent have a quiet good family function
