STUDI PENGGUNAAN ANTIBIOTIKA GOLONGAN SEFALOSPORIN PADA PASIEN INFEKSI SALURAN KEMIH (Penelitian Dilakukan di RSUD Kertosono)

Background: Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is an infection caused by bacterial which it affects cytitis part and phylonephritis in urinary tract. The classification of UTI consists of complicated, uncomplicated, recurrent, and nosocomial ISK. Urinary tract infection is colonized by pathogenic bacteria of E. coli (80%) or Staphylococcus saprophyticus (10%-15%), Spesies Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Proteus, Enterococci, S. aureus, Klebsiella spp, B. Streptococci, and Pseudomonas. The most used antibiotic therapy for UTI is cephalasporin class antibiotics which consists of four generations. Objective: To find out the pattern of cephalasporin class antibiotics use in patient with urinary tract infection and to find out the pattern of cephalasporin class antibiotics use including dosage given, route of administration, duration of given and interval given to patient with urinary tract infection. Method: It used observational research with taking data retrospectively and descriptive in period of January 01 to August 31 2018. Result and Conclusion: The most pattern of cephalasporin class antibiotics used in patient with urinary tract infection was single in 14 patients (74%) and combination of 6 patients (26%). The most single used was Ceftriaxone (2 x 1 g) iv of 2 patients (9%). The most two combination was Ceftriaxone (2 x 200 mg/2 x 300 mg/3 x 200 mg/3x 30 mg) iv + Gentamicin (1x 40 mg/1 x 60 mg/1 x 100 mg) iv of 4 patients (52%). The most switch pattern used was Cefotaxime (3 x 350 mg / 3 x 500 mg) iv → Cefixime (2 x 40 mg / 2 x 50 mg / 2 x 60 mg) iv of 3 patients (24%)
