A water turbine is a rotating machine that takes kinetic energy from a water flow. Water turbines are developed and used widely for industrial power before the presence of electricity networks. Now water turbines are used for electricity generation. The most commonly used type of water turbine is waterwheel, first used by Greeks and used extensively in medieval Europe. Subsequently, various types of water turbines such as the Pelton turbine were discovered by Lester A. Pelton in the 19th century. The components used to design the pelton turbine practicum tools include: nozzle, runner, water reservoir, pump, manometer, pipe, bearing, shaft, pulley, and hose. In the design of a pelton turbine practicum tool requires several stages starting from determining the size using existing data after that it is necessary to do calculations related to the turbine itself, which includes the calculation of the nozzle, turbine runner, bearing, shaft, magnitude of power .
