In this longitudinal collaborative research, a triangulation of ethnographic and quantitative methodologies were used to explore the nature offour professors' classroom teaching contexts and the relationships between classroom actions and student teachers' classroom climate perceptions. Case studies of four College of Education professors based on observations, student teachers' perceptions and interviews were completed. Results from the interpretation of data revealed that each two professors had a dominant style ofteaching: professor-centered vs. student-centered, and content-oriented vs. process-oriented goals.
