Relación de la lateralidad con los procesos de escritura en niños de 6 y 7 años de edad

When we start the Writing process in infant students they have to acquire basic motor behavior manual skills, from them, is very important the appropriate development of the Laterality to avoid difficulties in the Writing process. The aim of this research was to stablish the existing relation between the development of the Laterality and the Writing Process on students from 6 to 7 years, of primary at the Bermejal School, that has its headquarters in the Francisco José de Caldas Institution, Fusagasugá, Cundinamarca, Colombia. For it, the laterality and the handwriting were evaluated trough the Neuropsychology Laterality test and the Literacy Test Applied T.A.L.E “for its meaning in Spanish” to 30 students from grade one a two of primary. The Neuropsychology Test adapted for Martín Lobo, Garcia Castellón, Rodriguez, and Vallejo. It was applied the writer sub-test T.A.L.E by Josep Toro y Monserrat (1984).For the statistic treatment of the data was used the complement of Microsoft Office Excel called EZ Analyze and the Software SPSS. That the definition of laterality is related with the Writing Process and statistically we can infer that the Indefinite Laterality in children from 6 to 7 years is causing them higher average errors; so, it should focus efforts on creating spaces for better definition of laterality and help the Writing Process. As a result, it was proposed an intervention plan that will be applied during 4 months, during 30 minutes by day in 3 weekly sessions,Al abordar la escritura los estudiantes deben ir adquiriendo unas conductas motrices manuales básicas, de ahí que es de gran importancia el adecuado desarrollo de la lateralidad para evitar dificultades en el proceso de escritura. El objetivo del trabajo fue establecer la relación existente entre el desarrollo de la lateralidad y el proceso de escrituras en 30 estudiantes entre 6 y 7 años de edad, de educación básica primaria en la institución Francisco José de Caldas, sede rural Bermejal en el municipio de Fusagasugá. Se evaluó la lateralidad y la escritura por medio de la prueba de lateralidad de Neuropsicología, adaptada por Martín Lobo García Castellón, Rodriguez, Vallejo del equipo del Instituto de Neuropsicologia y Educación. Así mismo se aplicó el sub-test de escritura T.A.L.E de Toro y Monstserrat (1984). Para el tratamiento estadístico de los datos se ha utilizado el complemento del paquete Excel de Microsoft Office llamado EZAnalyze y el Software SPSS. Se ha comprobado que la definición de la lateralidad tiene relación con el proceso escritor. La lateralidad indefinida en los niños y niñas de 6 a 7 años está relacionada con un mayor promedio de errores en los procesos escritores por lo que se deben enfocar los esfuerzos en generar espacios para una mejor definición de la Lateralidad y así ayudar al Proceso Escritor. Como resultado se propone un plan de intervención, que se aplicará durante 4 meses, con ½ hora, en 3 sesiones semanales
