Relación entre Inteligencia emocional y autoestima en niños de 5 años

The development of emotional intelligence, as appropriate strategy to increase self-esteem, to facilitate relationship processes, children 5 years, with himself, with others and with their environment, can maintain psychological well-being holistically, because the child learns to understand themselves and others, to become aware of their emotions, to keep a sense of toler-ance, to handle frustrations and increases their ability to develop empathy and social skills, improv-ing their interaction and healthy self-esteem feelings. This research shows that most children, the analyzed group, estimated auto-low or very low (measured by the test TAE-Teacher), as low on the emotional component (measured by test pre-sented Figure human), also it can be seen that most students with low and very low self-esteem, have low scores on the com-rapporteur emotional. Taking clear this situation, a program of neuropsychological intervention of emotional intelli - gence, with educational workshops and creative leisure for possible application to the 60 children of the Child Development Center, Jorge Eliecer Gaitan, of Tunja, Boyaca, Colom-bia is designed.El desarrollo de la inteligencia emocional, como estrategia para incrementar la autoestima adecuada, para facilitar procesos de relación de los niños de 5 años, consigo mismo, con los de-más y con su entorno, permite mantener un bienestar psicológico en forma integral, porque el niño aprende a comprender los sentimientos propios y ajenos, a tomar conciencia de sus emociones, a mantener un buen sentido de tolerancia, a manejar las frustraciones, e incrementa su capacidad de empatía y desarrolla habilidades sociales, mejorando su interacción y su sana autoestima. En la investigación se observa que la mayoría de los niños del grupo analizado, presentan autoes-tima baja o muy baja (Medida por la prueba TAE-Profesor), al igual que baja puntuación en el componente emocional (Medido por test de la figura humana), también se puede apreciar que la mayoría de estudiantes con baja y muy baja autoestima, presentan puntuaciones bajas en el com-ponente emocional. Teniendo clara esta situación, se diseña un programa de intervención neuropsicológica de inteli-gencia emocional, con talleres lúdico pedagógicos y creativos, para su posible aplicación a los 60 niños del Centro de Desarrollo Infantil, Jorge Eliecer Gaitán, de Tunja, Boyacá, Colombia
