Análisis del grado de conocimiento sobre los antibióticos en alumnas de Enseñanza Secundaria Obligatoria y 1º Bachillerato de un centro educativo de Tarragona

The following Master Thesis has developed a non experimental research work through an opinion poll to evaluate the degree of knowledge about antibiotics in 2nd, 3rd and 4th degree of secondary education (in Spanish, ESO) and 1st degree at high school, and the possible consequences of bad health habits acquired during this period. The importance of science and the value of including it in our culture and in life in general are confirmed. Therefore, there is the need to educate in science from the early stages, putting the main effort on adolescence, since it is the perfect stage of education to acquire healthy life habits and specially concepts such as health and disease. If theses aspects begin to be thought in the school, the sooner the objective of eradicate malpractice, misunderstanding and ignorance of health concepts that are present in our day life such as: self medication, resistance to antibiotics and all those curiosities related to people’s health, will be accomplished. Finally, some proposals related to health interventions are given in the form of innovative and dynamic activities, which are attractive and interesting for secondary and high school education students.En el presente Trabajo Fin de Máster se ha desarrollado un Trabajo de Investigación no experimental a través de una encuesta con el objetivo de evaluar el conocimiento sobre antibióticos en 2º, 3º y 4ºESO y 1ºBachillerato y las posibles consecuencias que existen al adquirir malos hábitos en salud. Se confirma la importancia de dar valor a la ciencia y que ésta forme parte de la cultura y de la vida cotidiana de las personas. Por lo tanto, existe la necesidad de educar en ciencia ya desde las primeras edades, insistiendo en la etapa de la adolescencia, idónea para la adquisición de hábitos de vida saludables y, especialmente de conceptos de salud y enfermedad. Si se empieza en la escuela a trabajar estos aspectos, antes se logrará erradicar malas praxis, conceptos erróneos y desconocimientos de ciertos términos tan presentes en la realidad cotidiana tales como: la automedicación, la resistencia a antibióticos, y todas aquellas curiosidades relacionadas con la salud de las personas y que forman parte de la cultura general. Finalmente se detallan diversas propuestas de intervención relacionadas con la salud en forma de actividades innovadoras, dinámicas, atractivas e interesantes dirigidas al alumnado de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria y Bachillerato
