La mediación y la resolución de conflictos en el tercer curso del segundo ciclo de Educación Infantil

In recent years there has been an increase of violence in our society and it seems like there isn’t an ending to this. Because of that we believe in the importance of working with our pupils, from an early age, their abilities, capacities and others towards a sincere, peaceful, more humane and coherent life, where there isn’t room for violence. With this in mind, we need to work values with pupils. Also, as teachers, we should know and have a wide range of abilities so we can use them in conflict mediation. We must build a whole educational project where we can help the children to face on their own and in an effective and peaceful way the problems they will find in the classroom and with their classmates, at home and in their life. Just by doing this the youngest will know and interiorize a new peace culture.En los últimos años se observa un elevado incremento de violencia en nuestra sociedad y parece no haber un día en que se vea el final. Es por eso que creemos en la importancia de comenzar a trabajar con nuestros alumnos, ya desde muy pequeños, aquellas habilidades, capacidades,… que les lleven a una vida sincera, pacífica, más humana y coherente, donde la violencia no tenga cabida. Para ello es necesario trabajar una serie de valores con los alumnos, y conocer y disponer de una amplia variedad de herramientas para la mediación y resolución de conflictos que, como docentes, nos ayuden a llevar a cabo una educación integral donde podamos poner nuestro granito de arena. De esta forma, poco a poco, nuestros alumnos serán capaces de afrontar con autonomía, efectividad y pacifismo aquellas contrariedades conflictivas que se encuentren en el aula con sus compañeros, en casa y en sus vidas. Sólo así lograremos sensibilizar a las nuevas generaciones para alcanzar una nueva cultura de paz
