Collector's data:"This beaded packet was made, I am told, by the daughter of an Omaha Chief in Nebraska - was given to "Little Dance" a Ponca Indian while on a visit there,, after bringing it home with him, he sold it to the Indian Trader at Ponca Agency, Okla. This packet is supposed to be some ten or twelve years old. Oct. 5, 1902."$8.00." Although rarely found on shoulder bags, the piece also includes a version of the old Eastern Woodlands double-curve motif along its vertical borders"beads30.0 c
