Bent Like the River--Cover

Poem printed letterpress in blue and pasted onto first page. Woodcuts printed in purple and red with same text cut into them. Papers are Gekkekan, Gampi Torinoko and Kitikata. Some pages folded at foredge, others are single sheets, all are sewn with nine cords knotted separately at the spine (an unorthodox stab binding) into paper covers reinforced with dyed cloth at spine edge.
