For the second time, a session dedicated to Geoarchaeology occurred in Vienna within the framework of the EGU 2009 meeting (European Geosciences Union, General Assembly 2009, Vienna, Austria, 19-24 April 2009). The session is a growing sector in the Geomorphology Division of the EGU, with twenty-seven abstracts received and twelve oral presentations made.
