Call for PhD Fellowship Applicants

3A PhD scholarship is available as part of the research project Virtual Shanghai with the Lyons Institute of East Asian Studies (Institut d’Asie Orientale). The deadline for submission of the application and supporting documents is 31 July 2010. Within the general research program of the Virtual Shanghai Project, we are opening up a new research topic: “Wars in Shanghai”. It will cover a broad time span, from the mid-19th century to 1950, but the Ph.D. may focus on a more specific period. ..
