South-Eastern Europe : History, Concepts, Boundaries

This issue of Balkanologie gathers together a selection of papers presented at a special conference organized by the Centre for South-East European Studies, London, dedicated to exploring the idea of South-Eastern Europe. There is no generally agreed definition of South-Eastern Europe, but there are many reasons for this uncertainty.
