5. The Excavation of Zone 2

1. Introduction Presented here are the preliminary results of the 2007 and 2008 excavations carried out in Zone 2 on the Kephali Hill in Sissi. Zone 2 is situated on the middle terrace of the north-western slope of the hill and the excavated structures are located in squares AR 73-74, AS-AT 72-75, AU 73-75 (cf. fig. 1.16).
