This research blog is dedicated to all aspects of early-modern dissent in Britain, from c. 1500 to c. 1800. Our main interest lies in the history, literature, culture and heritage of the so-called ‘gathered Churches’ (Congregationalists and Baptists), but also of the Presbyterians, as well as Quakers and sects.
