The Department of Classics is saddened to announce the death on May 26, 2014, of Professor Anthony W. Bulloch. Born in London in 1942, Anthony was educated at University College School in London and at King’s College, Cambridge, where he received the B.A. (1964), M.A. (1968) and Ph.D. (1971) in Classics. He stayed on in Cambridge until 1976, serving as a Lecturer and as Dean of King’s College. In 1976 he moved to California, as Lecturer for his first year, then as tenure-track Assistant Profe..
