The Sustainable Adaptive Gradients in the Coastal Environment (SAGE) research network will host a half-day workshop, The Fundamentals of Coastal Adaptation, to provide a pre-conference primer on: coastal geology and coastline evolution; risk framework and its impact on planning and zoning, infrastructure solutions (gray, green and hybrid); and a framework for future development in coastal adaptation design and implementation.
