The paper aims at explaining the logical frame of Fichte’s Grundlage der gesamten Wissenschaftslehre (in particular the section dedicated to the principles theory) as well as whether and how the I - dialectics can be understood in terms of ontology.Beginning with the Züricher Vorlesungen über den Begriff der Wissenschaftslehre, in the Jena’s years Fichte dealt with the research of the object and the purpose of philosophy.
