Le Visual Vernacular musical (VVm) est un nouveau style expressif répandu parmi les sourds italiens depuis 2008. À présent, on connaît seulement deux exemples du style VVm, représentés par deux travaux artistiques italiens. L’analyse des enregistrements vidéo des performances en VVm explique le procès d’évolution et de structuration/organisation de ce style expressif. Les données, recueillies entre 2010 et 2011, nous montrent que les performances en VVm se basent sur la connexion entre deux domaines sémantiques différents : le domaine linguistique (tiré de la langue signée) et le domaine musical/sonore.
