Marzia Piccininno is an experienced professional with a background in archaeology and digitisation of cultural heritage. She joined the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism in 2002 as a project manager for EU funded projects on digitisation policies (MINERVA, MINERVAplus, and MINERVA eC), and the MEDCULT project funded by UNESCO to spread the MINERVA results across the Mediterranean basin.
