La présente étude se veut une contribution à l’analyse de l’expression linguistique de la politesse dans la langue latine. Dans la continuité d’une première étude (Unceta Gómez, 2010), on aborde ici l’analyse des réponses données à un acte de parole intrinsèquement poli, le remerciement, dans les comédies de Plaute et de Térence, un corpus optimal pour ce type d’analyse. En raison de sa faible représentation et de son degré d’élaboration, la réponse au remerciement se révèle être, dans ces œuvres, un acte de politesse marqué, propre, dans une large mesure, aux classes supérieures.This paper aims to be a contribution to the analysis of the expression of linguistic politeness in Latin.
