Many Kurdish literary critics consider Sherzad Hassan one of the most famous Kurdish authors of the last two decades in Kurdistan. Judging by the reception of his works in Kurdish media and their frequent republishing in Kurdistan, he is a well-perceived novelist by the literary critics.
