Aspects of the three-dimensionality of seals

The subject of my contribution has developed from the research project “Siegel-Bilder”, carried out under the direction of Gerhard Wolf, Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florence, Max-Planck Institute, and Michael Stolleis, Max-Planck Institute for European Legal History in Frankfurt a. M. It marks in some sense the end of this project and at the same time the beginning of a new stage in my research.
