Volunteering of Religious Association's Members as a Form of Civic Involvement

The aim of this master thesis is to clarify how volunteers civically engage in religious association. The theoretical part explains volunteering as a form of civil engagement in civil society. It also shows connection between religion and volunteering and it presents basic Christian values. The qualitative empiric part answers investigative questions which are focused on how volunteers engage inside of their association as well as outside of it, how they perceive their own volunteer activity and which values in volunteering they consider as important. All the obtained information given through interviews, participant observation and annual reports is finally summarized to the conclusion.
