A system of a formal assistance to children from children's home in transition to independent life

This bachelor thesis elaborates preparation of children from children's homes for their independent life as well as subsequent support after their leave from institution, all from perspective of experts. Eventhough problematic of children growing up in institutional care seems to be a relatively often discussed topic, the period of leaving is in practice severely unrecognized by the system. This thesis thus focuses on particular involved actors, their position and role in the system, and on specific areas representing threats while leaving the institution. The issue is viewed from the perspective of bottom-up theory of policy implementation and theory of emerging childhood. Empirical part represents the results of qualitative research, which was conducted with the experts using method of semi-structured interviews
