Dog Assisted Therapy and its Use in Rehabilitation of Children with Multiple disabilities

The bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of canistherapy and its use in rehabilitation of clients with multiple disabilities. It collects information available from foreign and Czech sources and creates an overview of canistherapy from its history, as well as methods, techniques and how the canistherapeutic team works. The next part of this thesis deals with multiple disabilities and particularly with the integration of canistherapy into the process of the rehabilitation. The practical part is based on the method of observing the canistherapy lesson in the selected facility. It describes the specific work of the team and the activities of various groups of handicapped children in Prague's special primary school. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the theoretical background with the practical implementation of canistherapy in rehabilitation of clients with multiple disabilities
