Activities of a general nurse at the critical care department

The bachelor thesis deals with the activities of a general nurse at the critical care department with the aim to find out whether it would be possible to perform patient hygiene in a different time period than during a morning shift. The theoretical part is divided into five chapters where the term resuscitation care is explained, nurses education, nurses activities in the intensive care department and work organization are described. The last chapter describes the effect of night shifts on nurses' health. The research work was a combination of quantitative and qualitative methodology using an ethnographic approach, where I was part of a medical team for five working days.
