Euthanasia and assisted dying in general are current social issues. In the literary review, this thesis summarizes the arguments for and against assisted dying and socio-demographic, personality and situational factors influencing people's attitudes to this topic. As a part of the research project, it outlines a study that aims to deepen understanding of the determinants of acceptance or non-acceptance of euthanasia and its evaluation.
