The presented project shows a first approach to automatize the search of ortholog proteins and has analysed first obtained list of candidates generating interesting observations regarding copper-resistance systems representation in different bacterial strains. Both resistant strains of Alteromonas macleodii analyzed show higher number of copper-resistance related genes in their genome.
