In this study, we try to investigate whether copula models contribute to the good reliability estimation for multi-component systems in some dependent environment. We assume that a failure occurs on the one component of multi-components, and the surviving component\u27 s hazard rate switches to the worse. Specifically, we consider the 2-component parallel system and the 5-component network system. Also we presume that we can obtain the complete data sets consist of failure occurrence time of each component. We estimate reliability function by the copula models and the traditional methods based on computer simulation, and compare these performances
