This paper explains the transmission coefficient S21 of a composite right-and left-handed transmission line (CRLH-TL). The CRLH unit cell is modeled based on the concept of a micro strip line, which is printed on a dielectric substrate. A comparison of equivalent circuit results and simulation results is presented
