The volume presents the edition of the unknown manuscript of the Biblioteca de Madrid (II-1586) and an extensive study of the manuscript. This edition announces a precious material for the knowledge of the commedia dell'arte of the 16th century and the history of spanish theatre in the moment of birth of the Comedia Nueva. The manuscript are attributed to Abagaro Frescobaldi, alias Stefanelo Botarga in the Ganassa's Company, the first one and more famous company that comes to the Iberian Peninsula. The manuscript contains, besides numerous canovacci and prologues, the literary materials that his autor used as verbal fabric for his spectacles.
