This study is to explore the native and postnatal factors’ influence on the development of Theory of Mind ability by comparing the TOM ability of children with different IQs. IQ was assessed in a sample of 400 children in Beijing aged from 2.6 to 6.3 using WPPSI and Tony-2 Test of Nonverbal Intelligence. TOM ability was assessed using classical tasks.
