This article is designed to show an example of utilization of drilling materials for understanding the concept of time. There are many articles on the use of drilling data for learning the distribution of strata. There is little literature on the interpretation of columnar sections of layers from boring materials in chronological order at an elementary school science class. It is important for students to have experiences to interpret the strata chronologically for understanding the law of superposition, a general law upon which all geologic chronology is based.
