The purpose of this study is to clarify gender differences in work values among Chinese college students. Over 650 students from 6 colleges completed a questionnaire of 19 items on work values. Factor analyses indicated that work values formed slightly different factors between genders, suggesting that men and women perceived work values differently. In comparison to men, women attached greater importance to two aspects of work values: comfortable work environment and intellectual stimulation. Regression analyses showed that gender differences in two aspects of comfortable work environment and intellectual stimulation are still existing under other variables control
