Recently, magnetic nanoparticles have been considered to bacterial removal, due to monodisperse size, the ability of functionalization or modification. A novel amino-terminated poly (amidoamine) generation 5 (PAMAMG5) functionalized Fe3O4/SiO2- GPTMS magnetic nanomaterial with a core–shell structure was developed. The nanocomposite was employed to determine antibacterial properties using paper disc diffusion, broth microdilution (MinimumInhibitory Concentration-MIC andMinimumBactericidal Concentration -MBC determination), adsorption, and surface plate count (Colony Forming Unit-CFU/ml) methods.
