Behavioural biometrics in the World Wide Web

Apart from its several advantages over traditional authentication mechanisms, the intrinsic time dimension of these distinctive typing patterns also allows for a real time and continuous user authentication. Being the internet security a recurrent and growing concern, this thesis asserts the actual applicability of such behavioural biometrics technique in a web environment, suggesting an elegant and transparent intrusion detection solution that requires no additional hardware or software.
