Dataset: Target site benthic survey reef bioerosion - 2014Characterization of the degree to which sea urchins have excavated (bio-eroded) the calcium carbonate skeleton of Clathromorphum nereostratum, a long-lived reef-building coralline alga that forms the structural base of the kelp forest. Estimates were derived from field measurements, photoquadrat surveys, and collections, all performed via SCUBA.
