Pam Schweitzer and I supported second year drama students in creating short pieces of drama based on memory boxes made by older people, many of whom had experienced war. Where possible, students met these older people and/or the artists who had created the boxes. The project led to ongoing intergenerational relationships, increased self-esteem, improved performance standards, and - unexpectedly a positive impact on student mental health. This presentation was the second part of a joint presentation with Pam Schweitzer at the international conference 'Theatre of Memory' on reminiscence theatre
