Aim: Estimate the correlation between ultrasonographic and histological findings in women with premenopausal or postmenopausal bleeding. Objectives: 1. Estimate the most frequent suspected causes of bleeding in premenopausal and postmenopausal women during ultrasound evaluation. 2. Assess the frequency of benign and malignant uterine pathology. 3. Evaluate the accuracy of preoperative diagnosis using an ultrasound. 4. Estimate optimal endometrial thickness “cut-off“ value for endometrial cancer diagnostics using an ultrasound.
