Jonas R. Rappeport attended the University of Maryland in the 1940s and graduated with a B.S. in 1949. While at the university, he served as a student photographer for the Diamondback, the Old Line, and the Terrapin yearbook. Rappeport later graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1952 and established himself as a notable forensic psychiatrist in Baltimore, Maryland. This collection contains approximately 120 black and white photographs taken by Rappeport at Maryland between 1942 and 1988.
